Heat Break Day on a Not-So-Hot Day!

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Intermediate Division Student Council organized a refreshing, summer-inspired activity. Students enjoyed cold lemonade and added a cheerful touch with fresh, summery accessories—all while embracing the spirit of the season.

Despite the rainy May weather, the event successfully spread bright summer vibes and brought smiles across the campus!

Drawer, bird cage, laundry basket… anything but a backpack!

On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Intermediate Division Student Council organized a fun and creative activity where students were challenged to bring their school books, copybooks, and stationery in anything but a backpack.

From the most practical to the most imaginative ideas, students truly embraced the spirit of creativity—proving once again that school can definitely be cool!

حَرَّرَ تَلاميذُ الصّفِّ السّادسِ بإشْرافِ الصّحفيّةِ السّيّدة لينا مبارك هذا العَدَدَ مِنْ مَجلَّةِ كُلَّ يوْمٍ، لمُناسبةِ يوبيلِ الدّستورِ اللّبنانيّ المئويِّ، والّذي يَتَزامَنُ مَعَ احْتفاليّاتِ المدرسةِ بيوبيلِها الماسيّ.

Grade 6 became real scientists in motion during their exciting Speed Test Challenge! By measuring distance and carefully timing each second, they explored how speed is calculated through an engaging, hands-on experience

وقد شكّل هذا النّشاط، الذي تمّ بالتّعاون بين مادّتَي العلوم الاجتماعيّة واللّغة العربيّة، انطلاقَةً ملهِمَةً تحضيرًا للمشاركة في تحرير عددٍ خاصِّ من مجلّة “كلّ يوم” بروحٍ وطنيَّةٍ مفعمةٍ بالحماسة والانتماء

Grade 8 students explored the fascinating world of genetics through an interactive karyotype activity, where they constructed and analyzed human chromosomes to identify various chromosomal abnormalities.

This engaging, hands-on experience promoted active, student-centered, collaborative, and inquiry-based learning. It fostered teamwork, critical thinking, observation skills, while deepening students’ understanding of genetic concepts in a meaningful and practical way.

Grade 6 turned into a mini machine factory! ⚙️🛠️
Students brought tools from home, explored the different types of machines, and became young engineers by explaining how each one works!

Excitement and teamwork filled our EII Competition Week, organized by the Division delegates. During last week’s second recesses, students competed in a variety of fun activities and gave their best!

As part of their cultural project on CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) and gene-editing technology, students from Grade 8C had the privilege of welcoming Father Elie Assaad for a thought-provoking dialogue at the intersection of science and faith.

Father Assaad, a diocesan priest holding a doctorate in Moral Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, offered the Church’s spiritual and ethical perspective on modern scientific advancements—bringing wisdom, nuance, and depth to a conversation that went far beyond the textbook.

Through this meaningful exchange, students learned to hold both questions and convictions with care, connecting scientific curiosity with Christian values and discovering that faith and innovation are not opposites — they are conversation partners.
