Celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Intermediate Division hosted a meaningful assembly in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. We were privileged to welcome Mrs. Carine Chamoun—Vice President of the Lebanese Down Syndrome Association and proud mother of Grade 8 student Clara Chamoun—who shared her inspiring insights and personal experiences.

The assembly offered students a deeper understanding of the biological aspects of Down syndrome, while also highlighting the importance of acceptance, kindness, and inclusion in our daily lives. The event concluded with a heartfelt prayer led by the Division Principal Ms. Josy Fadel, who reminded us that our differences are not just to be accepted—they are the true treasures of life.
