In order to make learning more appealing, Gr. 7 and 8 students had an outdoor writing activity.
- They were given strips of paper with sentences written on them.
- They had to sort the papers into two categories and write them down in a T-chart.
- They were then asked to deduce what the lesson and the topic were about.
Once they identified that the lesson was about the advantages and disadvantages of the internet, they were asked to choose two ideas from each list and start writing an outline.
In these pictures, the students of 8B finalized the advantages and disadvantages essays and returned to class to make sure all members of the group write the correct essay on their English copybooks.
