As part of their learning experience, Grade 8 students went on an educational field trip to Mtein, Mount Lebanon, where they got the chance to visit Château Oumsiyat winery, as well as the old Mtein castle, the municipality museum, and the old silk factory. There they witnessed firsthand the fermentation process as well as the traditional Lebanese architecture which characterizes the village. And since May is the Holy month of Mary, the trip was concluded with a spiritual moment at Our Lady of the Forest, Beit Chabeb.
