Math Project: City Design

The objective of this project is to design a street map for a fictional city, demonstrate the students’ understanding of parallel, perpendicular, and transversal lines, and then apply these concepts to real-life scenarios.
Students are expected to use the concept of “segment addition” to calculate the distance between two buildings. This project will enhance their geometry skills and conceptual understanding.
