In July and September 2023, many JM teachers from all Divisions participated in a series of workshops led by Dr. Claudine Rizkallah Aziz on Active Learning (student engagement and learning strategies), Equitable and Reliable Assessment (assessment tools and criteria for different types of tests), and Positive Discipline (active listening and encouragement). On the last day, Dr. Aziz invited in Ms. Rania Saydeh Zgheib, a national trainer from the Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD) to discuss the Lebanese child protection policy authorized by the Ministry of Education, since child protection policy is an essential part of Positive Discipline.
