من ضمن منهج مادة التربية الوطنية ولمناسبة يوم المرأة العالمي، وبهدف تعزيز الوعي لأهميّة دور المرأة في المجتمع اللبناني، قام تلاميذ الصف الثانويّ الثاني IBDP1  بتحضير جدول زمنيّ من 1906 لغاية تاريخه، حول النساء اللبنانيّات الرائدات في مختلف المجالات، بالإضافة إلى القوانين اللبنانيّة التي تحمي حقوق المرأة اللبنانيّة. وأجرى التلاميذ أبحاثًا حول إنجازات المرأة في لبنان فجمعوا معلومات عنهنَّ بالإضافة إلى صورِهنَّ، وتمَّ لصقها على الحائط بين الصفوف ليطّلع عليها كافة التلاميذ في القسم الثانويّ. يهدف هذا النشاط إلى تعزيز الوعي حول قضايا المساواة والعدالة الاجتماعية، وتشجيع التلاميذ على المشاركة الفعّالة في تعزيز حقوق المرأة ودورها في المجتمع، ومن أجل ذلك تمَّ تحضير نشاط تنافسيّ حول هذه الأبحاث ينفَّذ في 14آذار 2024.

As part of the civics curriculum and to celebrate International Women’s Day, students of the IBDP1 class prepared a timeline from 1906 to the present date, highlighting pioneering Lebanese women in various fields, in addition to Lebanese laws protecting women’s rights. The students conducted research on Lebanese women’s achievements, collected information about them along with their pictures, and displayed them on the wall between classrooms for all secondary students. This activity aims at enhancing awareness about issues of equality and social justice and encouraging students to actively participate in promoting women’s rights and their role in society. To complete this, a competitive activity based on this research is being prepared for March 14, 2024.
